Pastry Sketch Crawl
Last Saturday, January 22nd there was a Sketch Crawl marathon. Teams of artists gathered in Rio, Paris, Sydney, NYC, SF, and many others. and went out sketching collectively. Naturalement I heard about it on Sunday, the day right after. C’est toujours comme ca non?
I seldom go out sketching onsite, but I determined to produce my individual sketch crawl, just drawing pastry in several New York tea salons…
Initial stop Pain Quotidien and this lush tarte framboise + a pot of mint tea.
On a chilly Sunday night time the joint was buzzing…
I was nervous as a cat. I set up my tiny paint boxes,
And commenced painting with my sketchbook on my lap!Not simple at all let me notify you 
Yikes!
Yikes!The individuals at the next table needed to know if I would at some point Consume that tarte..?
It was all I could do to figure out exactly where to spot the tarte on the paper, a lot significantly less consider of placing it in my stomach. (I took the #$ @ point residence to review and nibbled off the raspberries prior to any serious learning took location – c’est la vie)
